Khabarovsk the City

Founded in 1858, a small military fort Khabarovka on Russo-Chinese border became one of the major cities of the Russian Far East in regards to population, territory and industry. It is among top ten largest Trans-Siberian Railroad stops, major air hub and water gate to the Asia-Pacific region. Despite the industrial and military importance, a short walk along main streets will surprise you with pleasant character and great architecture of the city you probably never heard off.

Route and schedule (walk or drive)

The tour starts from the City's central square traditionally accompanied by administrative buildings, statues of Lenin and other historical figures and crowds of running people. From the central square we will continue our introduction with the old part of the city along Muraviev-Amursky Street.
 Next destination is "Komsomolskaya" Square. Dedicated to the heroes of civil war and revolution fighters in the Russian Far East, it is a popular place among residents for relaxing and social gatherings.
 From "Komsomolskaya" square we will continue our tour along the cliff of Amur River. Enjoy panoramic views of Mountain Range and the Amur River.
 Our last stop will be a museum of Regional Studies named after Mr. Grodenkov known for a unique collection of documents related to Khabarovsk history
